The beginning of the Major League Baseball season is always a matter of celebration.

At the start of the season, theres a glimmer of hope for all 30 teams in baseball.

And while the league is shooting for a May 25 start, the realization that this may stretch out further is becoming more of a reality by the day.

So instead of having a dark void with no baseball content to show on what would have been opening day, ESPN is trying something different.
